Mason City Community School District utilizes this site in an effort to provide access to Board and District information in our governance and operations. The Board of Education meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the District Administration Office Board Room at 1515 S. Pennsylvania Ave. The Board consists of seven members elected at-large by residents of the Mason City Community School District. The primary role of the board is to set policy for the school district. Board members receive no compensation for their service. This site is currently under development, but at this time access to "About Us", the Board of Education Meetings, Planning, Communications and Documents are available. Policies are still under development, but policies can still be accessed through the district's website. You can also access other state and local education resources using the links provided. Click on one of the items on the menu at the top of the page to access this information. In addition, this site has a search feature located in the upper right corner (no login is needed to access this feature).
