 The South Whittier School District holds students and staff to rigorous standards in order to prepare every scholar for 21st Century success in college and the workforce, within a safe and supportive environment.

2024 BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING SCHEDULE:

Board meeting dates are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of the month (*except as noted) at  4:30 PM in the South Whittier School District – Board Room. Trustees may modify or cancel meetings due to holidays, to conduct District Business, or other reasons to meet the needs of the District. Any modified or cancelled meeting date(s) is approved at a Board meeting.

Please note that the minutes of a Board meeting will reflect any modification or cancellation of a Board meeting.

  • March 5, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled on the 1st Tuesday of the month to meet fiscal year requirements)

  • June 11, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled to conduct District business / Public Hearing for LCAP / Budget)
  • June 18, 2024 * (Second Board meeting in June scheduled for Approval / Adoption of LCAP / Budget)
  • July 30, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled on the 4th Tuesday of the month due to 4/10 schedules)
  • August 20, 2024
  • September 10, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of the month to meet fiscal year requirements)

  • November 12, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of the month due to Thanksgiving week)
  • December 13, 2024 * (Board meeting scheduled on Friday due to Business Services & Annual Organization Board meeting requirements)

Note: * denotes Board meeting is modified that month to conduct District Business and meet legal, and mandated requirements.
