BOARD of TRUSTEES MEETING AGENDAS/MINUTES

Regular Board Meetings of the Placer Union High School District Board of Education are typically held beginning with Closed Session business followed by Open/General Session once monthly (unless otherwise noted). Meeting agendas are typically published/posted the Thursday prior to a Tuesday meeting. Meetings may take place at the District Office, Lynn MacDonald Education Center (LMEC) or a school site. Live stream (view only) will be available when regular meetings are held at the District Office or the LMEC only. Special Board Meetings and workshops may be called several times a year depending on the need.

You are invited to join the PUHSD Board of Trustees at their upcoming Board meeting.
Regular Board Meeting: If you would like to speak during Public Comment, please join the meeting in person. In the interest of conducting the public meeting in a timely manner, individual speakers will be allowed three (3) minutes to address the Board with no more than twenty minutes per topic. Completing a blue, "Public Participation" form is preferred but not mandatory. This form can be obtained at the meeting.
Public Comment for Items in Closed Session: Individuals who wish to comment on items being considered during Closed Session, shall be provided the opportunity to comment prior to the Board recessing to closed session.
Public Comment for Items on the Agenda: Individuals who wish to comment on items on the Agenda, shall be provided an opportunity to comment after the staff report and before the Board's consideration of that item.
Public Comment for Items not on the Agenda: Individuals who wish to comment on items not on the agenda, shall be provided the opportunity to speak during Public Comment on Non-Agendized Items on the Agenda. The law (California Education Code Section 35145.5) does not allow the Board of Trustees to take action on any item not explicitly posted on the Agenda in advance.
The Board values public comments and wishes to convey that although Board members cannot take action on items that are not on the agenda, they listen carefully and appreciate and value input from the public.
