Student Achievement

 

  • 100% of 3rd -11th grade UCSD students will be proficient or advanced in Reading, Math, & Science as measured by Iowa Assessments in the 2019-2020 school year.
  • All UCSD buildings will be rated "Commendable" or higher by 2020 on the State of Iowa Attendance Center Ranking.
  • 80% of the UCSD graduates will take the ACT by the graduating class of 2021.
  • 100% of the UCSD graduates taking the ACT will graduate from UHS as measured by the Iowa graduation rate definition by the 2018-2019 school year.
  • 100% of the UCSD 3rd grade students will be considered literate as measured by Iowa Assessments or FAST assessment data by the 2020-2021 school year.


Service

 

  • New Service Pillars will be implemented during the 2017-2018 school year in order to establish baseline data.



People

 

  • UCSD will be in the 99th percentile rank for employee engagement as measured by the Gallop Q12 Engagement Poll by the 2021-2022 school year.



Finance
  • Maintain Solvency Ratio of 10% or more.
  • Maintain Upspent Balance of Spending Authority (UAB) of 10% or more.



Safety & Well-Being
  • 100% of 5th - 12th grade UCSD students will be engaged as measured by the Gallop Student Poll (GSP) Engagement Scale in the 2020-2021 school year.
  • 100% of the 5th-12th grade UCSD students will be hopeful as measured by the GSP Hope scale in the 2021-2022 school year.
  • 100% of UCSD buildings will be 100% compliant with all fire and tornado/severe storm drills every year.
